Nattaro Labs AB is an expert on bed bugs and how to attract them in order to detect (and trap) them. To improve their product their clever bait should be formulated into a product that release the fragrance mix during a longer time period and at the same time is easy to handle for the user. We were asked to come up with potential strategies within their set production and in-use constraints which we did using the full team capability in a scientific brainstorm activity. Our ideas from this first phase were so liked we also got to produce prototypes based on three of our highest ranked ideas. Thus, a second project phase was entered where we used our laboratory and processing capabilities. We have now produced prototypes in such volumes that Nattaro Labs can test them in their own laboratory as well as in their next field study.
We all hope this is a product that soon can be found in a store close to home…
