Improved lamination is hot hot hot…

aluminium foil surface

In a series of projects we have focused on ways to improve and control lamination between polymer films and aluminum foil, a combination of materials used in several packaging applications. The goals were to decrease energy consumption and material waste.

Our studies have been both experimental and theoretical, performed in our own lab as well as together with our client in their pilot plants. We have traveled together with our client to institutes and suppliers in order to help conceptualizing the generated ideas. This work has in turn generated patent application possibilities and several internal projects that our client performs. Indeed this has been a hot and flammable project… I say no more.

Our combination of surface chemistry, inorganic chemistry and process experience is extremely valuable for our clients in these projects.
