This is where we do the work leading up to and including a quote. We’ll explore different ways of collaborating (project-based, ad hoc consultancy or monthly retainer, for example). While doing so, we’ll look at how we can work sustainably, efficiently and effectively, while allowing for flexibility and minimizing stress.

Based on the hypothesis and scope, we’ll present you an indicative answer. This shows you two things: the activities that we think will be necessary in the project and what the results could look like. It helps align our overall understanding of the project and explains what the risks and difficulties are. We ask what you intend to do with the results, and double-check deadlines, project flow and reporting. From there we offer an official quote.

Commiting to sustainability

One of our aims in this step is to challenge you and ask questions about sustainability. We’ll ask about materials, including the research materials. For example, what will happen to them after the project? Agreeing on these details at this stage means that we’re both making a commitment to working sustainably in the upcoming project.

Terms and Conditions

Generally, we will reach an agreement based on your company’s legal suggestions. For you to know early on what is important to us, and how we see our relation and roles, here you can take a look at the CR Way of Working with Terms and Conditions.

Please feel free to explore other parts of our process below

At CR, we provide scientifically sound and sustainable business direction.

The three concepts in this process – science, sustainability, business – aren’t incompatible. Quite the opposite. Because of overlapping global crises and the regulations put in place to deal with them, only solutions that embrace environmental, social and economic sustainability are good for business.

So, we make sustainability a consideration at every stage of our projects. And in our experience this improves both methodologies and outcomes.

Here’s a guide to how we do it: science, sustainability and business step by step.
